Our Class Assembly

On Friday 10th March, Reception took part in their very first class assembly! The children told the rest of the school and their families all about the science learning they have been doing in class as part of Science Week!

The children told us all about magnets and objects that were magnetic and non-magnetic. They also took part in some investigations, showing us how to make 'jelly' by adding a special powder with water. They created their own bubble paintings by blowing bubbles into a mixture of paint, washing up liquid and water. Then the children showed us all the things they can now do since starting school, including hopping and throwing and catching!

They finished the assembly with a fabulous rendition of 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'! The children spoke very clearly and confidently and showed some excellent speaking skills. Well done Reception!
