Welcome to Year 6! Our class teacher is Mr Taylor, our teaching assistants are Mrs Smith and Miss Collier and our class governor is Andy Rushby.
The children have all settled in well to Year 6 and have taken on lots of extra responsibilities. Their jobs include: handing out registers; setting up the hall for assemblies; running Fruit Shop at playtimes and answering telephones at lunchtimes.
Now that we are in Year 6, you will notice that we wear a different coloured jumper - purple! This is because we are now the eldest children in school and so that we stand out. This means that all of the other children in school can spot us setting a good example.

Safer Internet Day 2018
This year, Year 6 looked at a variety of scenarios that could potentially happen online and compared them to their own experiences. The children debated what the best approach might be to tackle online problems such as cyber bullying and requests from strangers. The children used Purple Mash software to create a leaflet highlighting the dos and don'ts of internet use, with a focus on being SMART.
