Our Local Area

Year 2 thought carefully about their routes to school - what they passed, what

they saw, how many roads they travelled along and how long this took them.

They then drew their route from home to school showing the buildings, fields, objects, etc.

that they passed on their way.

       

In addition, we have looked closely at dry stone walling and how the stones are

placed to create the wall.  Then we created our own dry stone walls out of clay.
