Powerful Partners in Year 6:  Can we become a Manchester United?

 

Manchester United are not the best because they buy all the best payers; they reach their targets by being the best team. This term has seen Year 6 trying really hard with their team building. Every class needs to be able to work well as a team to allow everyone to thrive, and Powerful Partners have been helping us to achieve this ambition. We have taken part in a 4 week programme of activities centred around team building and cooperation. This has included a range of exciting games aimed at building up our ability to work well together.  As a class we have learnt a rap about teamwork and discussed the importance of cooperation, consistency of our efforts and the benefits we all make by helping each other. In large teams we have collaborated to journey across crocodile infested swamps. In pairs, with children we don’t normally work with, we have circuited the hall whilst balancing long sticks of spaghetti between our chins.  As individuals we have keep a daily diary detailing what we have personally contributed to our team effort.

 We want to become a great team and we will continue our efforts all the way through the year. Thank you Powerful partners for helping us start our journey.
