SATs information and support for Year 6
Before you take a look at the information on this page (and we hope that you find it useful) please remember that SATs are just one measure, and whilst we encourage everyone to try their very best, these results will not be the overriding factors in shaping their own unique lives.
We support our pupils in many ways to prepare them for the annual tests; including specific interventions, additional resources, undertaking past papers and ensuring that they are fully prepared, calm and enthusiastic about showing all they have learnt in their time with us.
If you are feeling in any way apprehensive, please take a look at our wellbeing page. On it, you will find lots of ways you can support your own mental health and wellbeing. If you continue to be worried about anything at all, please remember that our school team are here to help, so why not come and have a chat with Mrs Morris or Mrs Travis? Sometimes a worry shared is a worry halved!
If you weren't able to attend the presentation about SATs for Y6 on the evening of Wednesday 27th April, please click on the link below to see the Power Point that was shared with parents/carers.

SATs test for Year 6 pupils are scheduled to take place between: Monday 9th May - Thursday 12th May 2022 Opposite you will find the timetable for this week. Please note that the information may be subject to change based on government updates. As parents and carers, we just ask that you encourage your child to be relaxed and happy about SATs week; keep them fit and healthy, help them get a good night's sleep and hearty breakfast, get them into school on time and reassure them so they don't feel in any way pressurised. We are all proud of them, they have worked hard all year and all we ask is that they try their best; our Year Sixes are amazing! Below there are 'Useful Resources and Websites' to help you practise with your child, including links.
